From our basic price per square foot that the average home is selling for, other values can be added to or taken away from the particular house that we are interested in. Price per Square Foot refers to living area, which is finished & heated, generally speaking. And this area usually covers the value of bedrooms. What other items have value? That varies depending on what is important to a buyer at any given time, but some general items that add value are listed here:

Your Realtor will usually to put together a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) for you before you make an offer on the home that you are most interested in. This will help you determine what to offer as well as what price to negotiate to as you work toward going under contract on your new home!
